Galagor

Natural basis: galago + leaping specialization

Role
DuelistHunter

Stores energy in its tendons, steers its trajectory with its tail, hears the landing branch before it jumps and travels in strings of almost silent bounds.

Origin

Night life among sparse branches demanded leaps in the dark with no room for error.

Appearance

A gray-and-cream big-eared jumper with huge round ears with pink centers, amber eyes, small mitten paws and two oversized hind legs.

Galagor — Front

Signature ability

Night Landing

Bounds with a Spring Leap to the enemy with the lowest HP: 170 damage, ×1.5 against a Marked target. A pair of Galagors evolves into Vinemur.

Passive trait

Tendon Charge

If Galagor ends its turn without a Maneuver, its next jump gains extra range and empowers its Strike after landing.

Moves

  • Spring Leap

    Instinct / Maneuver

    A very long arcing move.

  • Night Landing

    Signature move

    Instinct / Strike

    Bonus Force after Spring Leap.

  • Ear Reckoning

    Resonance / Support

Improves jump accuracy and detects obstacles.

  • Tail Pivot

    Instinct / Reaction

Changes trajectory when an intercept is attempted.

Evolution

Line E-25: Arboreal Primate

Tarsix → Galagor → Vinemur

First evolution: leaping hunts strengthen the hind limbs and hearing, and the tail becomes an active counterbalance.

Second evolution: a permanent life in the dense canopy makes a grasping tail more valuable than a long leap. Plant partners settle on the skin, letting Vinemur use vines almost as an extension of its body.
