EV-130Evolved form

Olmurk

Natural basis: olm, or proteus

Role
ControllerGuardian

An extremely slow metabolism, a keen chemical sense, the ability to go without food for a long time and to find mates by faint signals dissolved in the water.

Origin

It spent millions of generations in cold cave waters where food is extremely scarce.

Appearance

A short pale-pink amphibian with a wide head, two coral three-lobed gills, four large legs and a short tail.

Signature ability

Cold Stillness

Ally with the lowest HP: negative statuses removed, shield 160 for 5 s and 45 HP per second for 5 s.

Passive trait

Cave Metabolism

Olmurk becomes Exhausted extremely slowly and restores a small resource on each turn it does not actively attack.

Moves

  • Chemical Trail

    Shade / Support

Marks an ally’s or enemy’s route with a dissolved signal.

  • Cold Stillness

    Signature move

    Flow / Support

Lowers Tempo but sharply raises Adaptation and recovery.

  • Gill Ripple

    Flow / Impulse

A weak controlling push that needs no sight.

  • Cave Vanish

    Shade / Maneuver

Evolution

Line E-01: Amphibian Adaptation

Axolume is the base form.

  • Axolume → Magmander — the geothermal branch. A long life near hot springs and mineral-rich water turns the glowing gills into heat-exchange organs; the skin darkens and becomes heat-resistant.
  • Axolume → Olmurk — the cave branch. In cold, total darkness the body lengthens, eyesight fades, and chemical sensing and energy saving matter more than bright bioluminescence.

Axolume is one of the key showcases of the Evolumes idea: a single starting biology can yield opposite forms under the pressure of its environment.
